Wilbraham Mark 13th December 2012

The PGM visited Wilbraham Mark Lodge last night.
(13.12.12). He was pleased to be accompanied by his
Spec Rep Eric Drinkwater and  the Prov DC David
Emmerson. Barry Fisher (from Leigh, on last year's
team)  came as Sword Bearer, and Bernard Jones
(sec of our charities) and Bill Grimoldby (almoner and
Tuscan Lodge ) acted as Prov Deacons.

In the lodge Nat Killen gave the lecture on the
Tracing board (at very short notice). This was well
received, not least because of its special delivery, in
Scottish vernacular !!!

and Group Sec Neil Pedder(SO).

Later in the evening the PGM mentioned that
Wilbraham had achieved a first: the first time he had
been  to a mark meeting were all the Craft Group
officials were present (see photo). He thanked them
on behalf of the Mark Order for the work they
undertook: and,of course, for their membership of
Wilbraham Lodge. Bro. David Redhead is WM and
Bro Neil Pedder, SO. A candidate had been advanced
at the last meeting in October.

The purpose of the visit was to foster fellowship
between the 2 Mark lodges (Wilbraham and Clarence)
which both meet at Widnes Masonic Hall.

and Master Elect of Excelsior), PGM and W Bro Nat
Killen P.Prov. G. Senior W (and lecturer).

Amongst other topics the PGM also referred to the unfortunate illness  of W Bro Peter Browne (Chairman of
the Hall) and who was Senior Deacon on this year's Prov Team. He asked that brethren remembered Peter
in their prayers , for a steady recovery.
